Couples should contact a priest at least nine months in advance of their date. A year or more notice is advisable to secure the church and time desired. If one of the couple is divorced, a church annulment will be required. Circumstances
of the prior marriage determine whether or not an annulment might be possible. Consult a priest at least a year in advance.
